Medicinal Mushroom and CBD Adaptogenic Chocolate Latte
Cold and dreary doesn't stand a chance against this cozy, creamy, and lightly spicy chocolate latte packed with superfood goodness. Think of this recipe as your secret weapon against the winter blues – it's seriously energizing, mood-elevating, and immune-boosting - what's not to love about that trio of benefits? It also happens to be the perfect warming beverage to curl up with next to the fire when all you want to do is have a moment of hibernation. We all have those days.
This delicious recipe contains some amazing health-boosting ingredients such as antioxidant-rich yerba mate tea and raw cacao, a plethora of fortifying medicinal mushrooms thanks to Four Sigmatic 10 Mushroom Blend (think chaga, reishi, cordyceps and much more!) and our Veggimins organic coffee flavored hemp CBD extract, a cannabinoid known for its calming and balancing effects on the nervous system.
Both CBD and medicinal mushrooms are what are known as adaptogens – these are defined as plants, mushrooms, roots, and herbs that have the unique ability to adapt to what the body needs. They have the ability to help bring the body and mind back to a state of homeostasis, especially during times of stress. If you're someone who deals with hormonal imbalance, adrenal burnout, chronic sleep issues, anxiety or mood swings, and/or low immune function, adding more adaptogens into your diet could be a game-changer!
This recipe is packed full of benefits and tastes like a more adult version of spicy hot chocolate. We hope you love it!
